Bang Pra offers Songkran Festival alternative to Pattaya

Bang Pra:--A press conference on Monday announced an alternative Songran Festival for those who are looking to celebrate the Water Festival outside of Pattaya.

Bang Pra is located approximately 40kms outside of Pattaya, towards Bangkok. Khun Wittaya, Chairman of the Chonburi Provincial Administration and Khun Somjeart, the Mayor of Bang Pra announced on Monday that they will be celebrating their Songkran Festival on 17th and 18th April. This will likely be a lot less chaotic compared to the Pattaya version of Songkran which takes place on 19th April.
