Lite Beer
Whitney Houston was found face down in a bath of scalding water Los Angeles - The singer Whitney Houston was found face down in "extremely hot" water, according to the final coroner's report into her death released Wednesday. The 41-page document confirmed the preliminary report released March 23 that the singer died from accidental drowning combined with the effects of heart disease and cocaine use. The final verdict of the Los Angeles County coroner added that the singer’s personal assistant found her face down under more than 30centimetres of water and had burns on her body. It also said a white crystalline powder was found in a spoon and on a mirror in the hotel room. The coroner did not test the powder, saying that was the responsibility of the police. Houston was found dead February 11 in her suite at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California, on the eve of the Grammy Awards. While cocaine was found to have contributed to her death, numerous other drugs were also found in her body - including marijuana, Xanax and Benadryl - but did not contribute to her death, the coroner said Edited April 5, 2012 by Scott formatting

OZEMADE
No sympathy, she had a choice. Good singer waste of talent. Same as Michael Jackson, he also had a choice.
Popular Post evadgib
Whitney Houston's (49) death, while a sad thing, was the direct result of very unwise life choices yet it dominated the news. Charlie Sheen is 45 and his story is all over the news because he is a substance abuser, an adulterer, sexually promiscuous and obnoxious. Lindsay Lohan is 24 and her story was all over the news because she is a celebrity drug addict and thief. Amy Winehouse’s (28) story was all over the papers and rammed up our noses (pun intended) as she was a singer, a ‘celebrity’ and a substance abuser. Something as frivolous as the talentless Kim Kardashian's (31) wedding [and short-lived marriage] was shoved down our throats. While the following: Justin Allen 23 Justus Bartett 27 Zachary Fisher 24 Christopher Goeke 23 Matthew Johnson 21 Brandon King 23 Brett Linley 29 Jesse Reed 26 Dave Santos 21 Sheldon Tate 27 Matthew Weikert 29... are all British Royal Marines who recently gave their lives. There is no media for them; scarcely even a mention of their names. It is now the period of the 30th anniversary of the Falklands War in which not only did 258 everyday people (3 civilians and 255 military) give their lives but also increasingly survivors of that conflict, and many more before and since, are increasingly suffering the after effects of same. Lest we forget.

Lest we forget. Quite correct, the debt we owe our Servicemen and women in not only Both World wars ,but all who have fallen in Conflicts in the service of my Country can never ever be repaid ,many are unsung hero's who died so we could be free from tyranny , and as you very rightly put it "Lest we forget" Edited April 9, 2012 by Colin Yai

Scott
It is very nice for people to remember the servicemen who have given so much and often receive such little appreciation. But let's remember this topic is about Whitney Houston.

If you wish to be a little picky on whether they were British or American servicemen and women please look at this link http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-10634173 It gives names and photos of the British who died in Afghanistan since 2001. They are all resting in peace unlike many of their families who are still uncosoled by their loss.

But let's remember this topic is about Whitney Houston. With all due respect, the Falklands was a liberation from the Argentinian faciasts that sought to squash the rights and liverties of the Falkland island residents. Miss Houston did not do much for world peace, nor did she contribute much to the local community. Did she ever campaign and contribute on behalf of those starving in Africa, speak out against the Darfur genocide, volunteer to help impoverished Afro american kids? I don't think so. Miss Houston was a selfish egotistical woman that once had an ability to sing the words written by others, accompanied by the music created by others. She and her family made a lot of being Church goers. Sadly, she didn't pay too much attention to the religion she professed to believe in. Perhaps her pact with the Devil came due for payment?

Took the words right out of my mouth. Attempt by Witney to make the most out of her God given talent and life of fame and privilege .......... FAIL. Move on nothing to see here....Next! Yunla
I loved her music & was very sad that she died so young & also that she had abuse in relationships. While it is ultimately upto each individual adult to care for their own health and/or addictions, when a person has problems it is also upto their friends to say "hey you look in a bad way, lets talk about it". Whitney's friends at the end of her life, were taking her out to bars/restaurants/clubs & getting her drunk/drugged and of course she was paying for all their partying too. They couldn't tell her to stop because she was most likely paying their bills. If they had been real friends they would have told her she was getting fat & looked sick and needed to stay away from that hard-partying lifestyle. Watching some of the home-movies shot of her on the last few days, I was just struck by how many of the sychophants around her were basically leeching a party lifestyle on her Credit-Card even though, as friends, they should have told her to stop & go do Pilates & health food or something instead.
