Buchholz
The Supreme Court was issuing threats? It was the Supreme Court that had threats issued against them. Voice of Thaksin printed the names, home address, and telephone number of every judge ruling on his 76 billion baht directly after an article about political assassinations http://2bangkok.com/...tions1002b.html Interesting note, from the isp that we have in the office several 2bangkok.com pages or perhaps the full site is blocked 'by order of MCOT' (I can read it from home however, sofar). Why would pages critical of PTP and Red Shirts need to be banned? It will be hidden behind other reasons, but... More specifically, it was Yingluck's government ICT Ministry that blocked it earlier. But, like you, I can access it now and yes, it's pretty damning reference that the Red Shirt magazine Voice of Thaksin puts the Supreme Court as analogous to the back of Abraham Lincoln's head in a theater box. Yay for Red Shirt Democracy From Voice of Taksin, February 15, 2010 The headline reads: The lists of the judges to give the verdict in the case involving the seizure of 7.6 billion baht From left to right are the judges' names: Thanit, Pairoj, Somsak, Prateep, Adisak, Riththep, Pithak [The article is a list of the names, addresses, and telephone numbers of each judge. This comes after articles on Oliver Cromwell, punishing judges at the Nuremberg trials, and assassination. The Voice of Taksin continually sets new levels for provocativeness.] . "More specifically, it was Yingluck's government ICT Ministry that blocked it earlier." Really? Just how long has the Yingluck government been in power, Buchholz? Yingluck's ICT Ministry was operational when the above ICT block occurred which is when the screen capture was made at: Sunday, April 01, 2012, 4:42:46 PM Her Cabinet, including ICT Minister, were sworn in on August 10, 2011 which is 7 months, 22 days in power. . DP25
Not a surprise they tried to block this information. They've worked very hard to create a false narrative about the red shirt movement that they sell to delusional, naive, and often well meaning foreigners. They don't like people contradicting that false narrative by showing what they are actually saying and doing in Thai.

The targeted website that was blocked is quite an archive of "what they are actually saying and doing in Thai". It provides exceptional coverage in that regard and has been around quite a long time. It's loss would be very noteworthy. . Edited April 8, 2012 by Buchholz

Interestingly enough: Rad says: April 2, 2012 at 11:01 am What we really want to know is whether your MICT site blockage yesterday was a genuine April Fool? admin says: April 2, 2012 at 1:59 pm Yes, the blocking was just an April Fool’s joke. I have the feeling that with the way politics is going that someday Thai websites may have to ban together in a voluntarily block as a protest against the pressure being exerted on them over political news http://2bangkok.com/...wenty-club.html
