Gps Thai Maps

Featured Replies

I Have Two Garmin Nuvi 205 gps loaded wit US maps, and I will be bringing one of them to Thailand with me next week. Is there a place where I can purchase and install Thai Maps while in Thailand? I will be spending a couple of days in BKK and then off to Khon Kaen for a couple of months.

Oh Great, I am sure many people log on to the GPS forum to see what is new and exiting. I cant wait for their responses.coffee1.gif

If you are in Pattaya then on the 2nd floor of Tukcom there are a few places that will upload them for you. Sorry but no idea for Bangkok.

In Bangkok i would try it in the panthip plaza, or in Khon Kaen i would try to do this in the Tukcom (next to the Kosa Hotel).

There are authorized Garman dealers in Bangkok who could help you out. They will make sure it is done right. Just Google Garmin Bangkok and you should find a couple for sure.

Thank you for the responses I

Tried the Garmin website in the US and they wanted 3,072 bht for the South East Asia Maps download, I will try both the panthip and Tuckom suggestions,

ESRI in Bangkok have the Thailand map. It is also available as a torrent, if you don't mind that sort of thing.
