Back now from traveling. Had a great 8 hours in Narita town with my wife (Thai national). She had to go to the embassy in Bangkok to get a transit visa, but it was all handled very efficiently and professionally. She had such confidence in them that she chose to have her passport delivered to her by courier since she was only in Bangkok 2 days. Much to my surprise, she even got a multiple transit visa! Kudos to khon yibun. wai.gif
