Guarantor For New Pp

Featured Replies

Have 4 pages left in current PP, need a guarantor to apply for new PP from Canadian embassy, don't have one. Will a law office supply this service?

Thx

The Canadian Embassy will do this for you, 1,500 Bhat. Pick up the form beside the envelopes with the passport applications at the Embassy in Bangkok.

Colabamumbai is 100 % right.

The Declaration in lieu of guarantor form (PPTC 132 "Statutory Declaration in Lieu of Guarantor" ) is available at Canadian Embassy and sworn by official there.

The "Statutory Declaration in Lieu of Guarantor" form must be sworn to or declared before, and signed by, a person authorized by law to administer an oath or a solemn declaration. If completed outside Canada, a qualified official includes a Canadian or British diplomatic or consular representative, or a qualified local official.

The snag is, from what I have read and understand, that you require in addition to the 'in lieu of guarantor', 4 people who will vouch for who you are who have known you for 2 years, they must sign the document and will be contacted by the embassy. I don't have them.
