Thai Parliament Flashed By Pornographic Picture

No real evidence of that... but given the Andrew Spooner source, it's not surprising.

Probably best wait for an official conclusion on the evidence before following your usual approach of attacking the messenger.

At this stage frankly it really just looks like someone's cock up - to use a slightly inappropriate expression - rather than being of any political significance one way or the other.

We'll just let the politicians do the false flag attacks first.

beamed in from outside parliament by hackers. is it possible? i have very limited knowledge of IT but i don't think it can be done easily to take over the screen from the main computer. i don't think it was a hacker.

Far more likely the porn was on the computer connected to the projector.

Democrat admits to watching porn in Parliament

The Nation

BANGKOK:-- A redfaced Democrat Party MP, a son of former party leader Banyat Bantadtan, Thursday admitted that he accidentally viewed a pornographic picture during a parliamentary meeting on Wednesday.

Nat Bantadtan admitted he had used his mobile phone to look at a porn image during the meeting to deliberate the charter amendment bill.

The picture of Nat watching the picture on his mobile phone was widely distributed among Facebook users. Nat was caught viewing the photo at almost the same time as a porn image was accidentally shown on a monitor inside the assembly hall.

Nat told the parliamentary meeting Thursday he was the MP whose picture had been distributed among members of social networking sites.

Nat said his friends always sent or tagged photos to him for check and that sometimes, they sent photos just to tease him. He said he opened the picture simply to check what it was and closed it immediately after seeing it. He said it was a picture from his friend and was sent to tease him.

Nat held a press conference at 10 am, saying he did not intend to view the photo. He said his friends and assistants always tagged Facebook photos and used the What's App application to send photos to his smart phone. He said he checked the photo and it turned out to be a pornographic one.

On Wednesday, while parliamentary lawmakers were hotly debating the charter amendment bill, a porn picture popped up on a projection screen.

During the meeting, Bhum Jai Thai MP Sanong Thepaksornnarong alerted Parliament President Somsak Kiartsuranon to a scene of girls in bikinis striking sexy poses that had accidentally appeared on the screen.

The picture was shown for five seconds then blacked out and redisplayed three times.

But not before a bunch of farang oldsters with too much time on their hands get their tedious thoughts to the world.

So try to be less tedious, no one here will object.

Waiting for more confirmation of who is responsible is precisely my point.

Spooner is what is he is. Unreliable.

One suspect is a democrat MP according to this link......rolleyes.gif

http://asiancorrespo...hai-parliament/

Of course the PTP will try to blame a Dem for this S.O.P.

If anything it was a setup to embarrass him.

No doubt the poor girl in the picture, will be identified, tracked down, and probed deeply,

for information like her phone number, days off, and what her Mia noi rates might be.

Thaksin did it .

Not easy to have a discussion on Spooner on TV so won't attempt to.

Having said that I partly agree with you on his unreliability not so much on his source material (much of which - not all by any means - is beyond questioning as more and more evidence accumulates) but his tendency to give way to histrionics and, fatal weakness for a commentator, simply doesn't know when to stop droning on.Nobody, even natural sympathisers, can be bothered for long with someone with a bee in his bonnet. Some of us on the forum might usefully ponder this truth - but I don't think for a moment they will.

So - someone want to explain how the picture got from his mobile phone to the projector screen?

Something fishy here...

Two separate incidents on the same day, I think. rolleyes.gif

It does state in the last article that they are different incidents that occurred at nearly the same time.

Am I the only one who is confused about this? I see no girls (plural) in no bikinis in the screenshot posted here and the video to which a link is given here. I see one woman dressed in a shirt and stockings exposing her apparently naked crotch.
