From Asok To Don Muang

Featured Replies

I'm heading to Don Muang for the first time tomorrow. Can anyone give me a ball park on taxi travel time and cost? My flight is around noon.

Also, is a taxi the best mode of transport from the Asok area or does the MRT/BTS go nearby?

Thanks.

A hour should be plenty of time from Asoke to Don Muang, assuming that your taxi takes the Expressway, drops down to Din Daeng, then up on the Don Muang Tollway. You'd pay baht 45 for the first portion then baht 60 for the second.

30 minutes. Taxi. 300 baht plus tolls

Relax

depend you hurry up or have time to take skytrain to mochit, last bts station in north. there is bus hub and you can take minibus to don mueang from there. just 13km, many buses passing don mueang. you can take 29, 538 or ask the people if they can show you.

Thanks. There was little to no traffic so the trip ended up being less than 30 minutes, slightly shorter than to Swampy from Asok without using the expressways.

Just did it. 300 plus tolls is spot on.

It can only cost 250-300 Baht for less than an hour. Taxi can go through expressway anyway so very much less traffic.

we got a mad tuk tuk driver last time, talk about you only live once! Also for 300 Baht
