Well, I think that is the point of the post. Both inappropriate actions but one gets pages of vitriolic abuse,the other silence.

Perhaps it escaped your attention, but the Yingluck using phone at funeral thread also got pages of justification and excuses.

From my point of view, the actions of both Yingluck and Nutt were disrespectful and deserve condemnation.

Disagree. Yingluck deserves condemnation for not acting respectfully. How would she like it if she was dead and the people who came to pay their respects were all absorbed in updating their facebook pages? If i was dead and i saw people doing that at my funeral, i'd tell them to piss off back home and that i would go about the process of moving onto my next life by myself... obviously i would have to put them in their places via a clairvoyant...

As for Nutt, he is being paid very well by all us tax payers, so fine, if he wants to titillate himself, do so on one of the many occasions when he skips off early for a game of golf, or when he is having an expensive meal on his expenses account with mates, don't do it when you are sitting in parliament pretending to work. Condemnation for him too.

Anyway, quite how you manage to warn people, with no element of condemnation present in the warning, i really don't know.

Yepp you are right... i think certain people are talking about him because he is a Dem MP and they think that everyone who found it appalling that Yingluck was using her phone whilst supposedly paying respects at a funeral, by default must be Democrat supporters that will rush to defend him... at which point they can jump up and down with shouts of "hypocrite". Obviously i can't speak for others who condemned Yingluck's behaviour, but i am not a Democrat supporter and i am not rushing to defend this stupid Dem MP who most likely owes his position to his surname, just like Yingluck.

Open to interpretation in Thailand. I do not consider it pornographic and I doubt most westerners would. However, in Thailand, they have a different approach to what is acceptable. This is a place where it is ok to post graphic images of dead people, but anything racey is a nono.

Not really open to interpretation. Pick up a Thai issue of Penthouse sometime, they have perfectly legal topless magazines here. They show topless women in movies at the theatre. This image isn't even topless, they show racier pics in Thai Maxim. It is fine, legally. Inappropriate to be looking at in parliament, perhaps.

In the old days, all Thai women walk about in village tipless, and no one even stare.
