4000 baht!

Nice to see they are concentrating on the "Big" dealers. laugh.png

20g of ice is worth a lot more than 4.000 baht.

If you read it again you will read that the 4k was the deal being made, for busting him, not the value of his stash, probably the value of 0,5g

so the whole stash might be nearer 80.000 baht.

Not that this makes him a "big" dealer, but a lot different from your numbers.

" I think the headline writer was watching some porn movies while it wrote it. What's a Brit-Cum? "

Now the Hub of Drunken Porn Parliaments have had a crack down, the author has issues finding a replacement for entertainment.

Teacher & Drug Dealer.................unbelievable! whatever next?..................Rapist & Masseur?

He isn't the first. Two of my colleagues ( American and Australian) were arrested for dealing about four years ago.

Just curious, is the death penalty still in force in Thailand? If yes, would anybody know at what level of distribution the penaty for dealing goes from an extended stay in the Bangkok Hilton to termination?

Pretty confident he won't be the last either. Such a horrible drug gets so many people caught up in it and ruins lives.

National Geographic did a really good must-see documentary about meth-amphetamine, entitled 'The Worlds Most Dangerous Drug' (nearly half of it was filmed in Thailand).

My thoughts exactly, but what an idiot, deserves whatever he gets... I don't think he will be lucky enough to get "transferred".

Nice easy target for the police though and they get to parade an evil Farang drug dealer to a big fanfare. See Thailands drug problem is all down to farangs.

Yes his biggest crime may have been seducing the wrong police colonel's daughter or wife, we'd never know would we.

But if true, hang the idiot high, that's some nasty shit there. . .

They get confessions so quickly here, yet you never hear about the Big Boss being arrested. Punish the monkey, let the organ grinder go.

He wasn't working for any "big boss" - he was competing against him - that's the most serious crime of all here.

No smart boss would allow a farang in that business, way too likely to bounce back.

Is anyone really surprised by this, lets face it the majority of the Brit teachers here aren,t qualified to teach anything and couldn,t hold down a job back home. The reason they are here is its the only place that will take them. Many off them to fond off the bottle aswell. I think we need more stringent checks on these people after all they are being left in charge of children. Does anyone know what school this unsavoury character passed himself off as a teacher at.

Since he reportedly taught at a famous school, there will no doubt be another crackdown on the qualifications of foreign English teacher like the one after the crazy man "confessed" to the grotesque murder the kindergarten beauty queen in the Colorado, even though he was in another state at the time she died.

I wonder why he would bother to take such a risk selling only B4,000 at a time and how long he expected to walk the streets as a white guy selling dope to prostitutes. Putting him away seems like a Darwinian solution to keep his genes away from women.

Noting from the picture that the drug seemed to be in powder form, rather than tablets like yaa baa, I was curious as to how it was administered and found these fascinating facts from Wikipedia.

I wondered if Mr Palmer was in the habit of teaching his students about booty bumps and potato thumping during conversation practice. If he has not yet turned seropositive, it will probably be only a matter of time in prison. Luckily for him "yaa ice" is apparently as readily available in Thai prisons for those with money as it is on the outside.

Suppository

Suppository (anal or vaginal insertion) is a less popular method of administration used in the community with comparatively little research into its effects.[ Information on its use is largely anecdotal with reports of increased sexual pleasure and the effects of the drug lasting longer, though as methamphetamine is centrally active in the brain, these effects are likely experienced through the higher bioavailability of the drug in the bloodstream (second to injection) and the faster onset of action (than insufflation). Nicknames for the route of administration within some methamphetamine communities include a "butt rocket", a "booty bump", "potato thumping", "turkey basting", "plugging", "boofing", "suitcasing", "hooping", "keistering", "shafting", "bumming", and "shelving" (vaginal).

Risk of sexually transmitted disease

Men who use methamphetamine, cocaine, MDMA, and ketamine, are twice as likely to have unprotected sex than those who are drug naive, according to British research. American psychologist Perry N. Halkitis performed an analysis using data collected from community-based participants among gay and bisexual men to examine the associations between their methamphetamine use and sexual risk taking behaviors. Methamphetamine use was found to be related to higher frequencies of unprotected sexual intercourse in both HIV-positive and unknown casual partners in the study population. The association between methamphetamine use and unprotected acts were also more pronounced in HIV-positive participants. These findings suggested that methamphetamine use and engagement in unprotected anal intercourse are co-occurring risk behaviors that potentially heighten the risk of HIV transmission among gay and bisexual men. Methamphetamine allows users of both sexes to engage in prolonged sexual activity, which may cause genital sores and abrasions. Methamphetamine can also cause sores and abrasions in the mouth via bruxism (teeth clenching and grinding), which can turn typically low-risk sex acts, such as oral sex, into high-risk sexual activity. As with the injection of any drug, if a group of users share a common needle, blood-borne diseases, such as HIV or hepatitis, can be transmitted. The level of needle sharing among methamphetamine users is similar to that among other drug injection users.
