I scrounge by on an English teacher salary trolling Thai-visa for fun does that count ? Oh that was you.

Your other topic along the same lines as this one was quickly moved to the pub because you were trolling. This effort is a bit better at hiding its intentions. So your improving your skills.. well done.

Time to grow up, perhaps?

Adult men don't talk about trolling. It's childish and beneath them.

But children talk about trolling. My son is six. He's staying with me at the moment. He talks a lot about the TROLLS in the Lord of The Rings movie.

I have now established an import/export business in Thailand

Importing haggis and exporting songkran shirts?

I'll be exporting British made mattresses and specialist beds to Thailand and importing some of the beautiful wooden furniture that you see all over the place. I'm also contemplating designing a whisky brand for the Thai market, I created a brand a couple of years ago for export to China.

I'm not looking to make a fortune, just enough to keep an interest going. I've got enough on my plate in the UK.

By the way could you imagine having to explain what a haggis is to Thai customs???? They would lock you up biggrin.png

It seems you are a rather busy man... I always assumed you were a landed gentleman who need not work for a living

Watch out that the shops you are buying the beautiful wooden furniture from are using treated wood and you don't end up with pissed off customers due to a borer beetle infestation. My ex- landlord was out of pocket about 10,000 baht on a couple of lovely bed units that one could easily fob off on UK customers for £500 each.

Once the Republic of Isaan cedes from the 'union' I can assure you that there will be absolutely no issues with haggis importation up here. I say this from the small, independent and sporadic haggis importer viewpoint who is just recovering from the February 'high' season.

The inveterate pissheads up here would literary lap up your designer hooch. I can see the cache of a bottle of say Glen Loei 12 year-old at one of these farang/faux hi-so wedding events... say a bottle on each table to complement the Regency and nahm daeng for the kids?

"mongrel"..... ROFLMAO
