Russians In Krabi

Just seen an ad for Russian real estate agents in Krabi..are there many Russians visiting Krabi?

Yes the number of Russian tourists in Krabi is certainly increasing and there were 12 charter flights landing at Krabi airport from Russia only during March.

A few have started to come over the last 2 years but I wouldn't say alot that add is actually for ko lanta

I have also noticed that one of the new condo blocks has started to add some Russian writing to all their bill board signs everywhere in krabi.

Am suprised, it was Pattaya originally but now of course Phuket and Samui.....have noticed a few are now in Hua Hin.Having direct flights wow...

From Oct 2012 there will be 6 regular flights direct a week from Moscow to Krabi airport, so expect to see a lot more next high season !
