schondie
Once that paperwork is signed the money goes straight to your bank account, or in some cases a cheque. The MOE wont give the money to the schools as they know a certain amount would get siphoned off. I just completed me sixth form (yes, I know the rules say that a teacher can only work at one school but in my area there's me or no one so some sort of rule was bent/broken). It's actually 200 Baht per hour so there's been a certain amount of chicanery between all the schools to give me 50 teaching hours per month. Some of my supposed hours overlap but I have cast iron guarantees from the directors to my wife (a Thai English teacher) that whatever happens I get my 10,000 per month.
