credit card holder at check in or is that only if u book from airline website?

I think you should check further on this. I use expedia, orbitz etc. And the plane ticket is bought with MY credit card. The ticket is not bought with Expedia's credit card. I am aware of several posts and threads about how to buy a ticket for another person. EVA has some form they want you to fax to their airport office, and I have heard other types of things. It seems obvious there must be a way to use a ticket bought by somebody else (traveling on business, for an interview, a friend or spouse bought the ticket etc. But you need to look further.
