Barber Supply Shop?

Featured Replies

Anyone know of a barber (or salon) supply shop in the city (preferably somewhere around the moat)? A place to get actual clippers, dryers, and the like.

South side of moat, driving west - opposite the old Pratoo market, across the road from Chiang Mai gate where the tuk tuks park.

Parking is difficult but there's a small unpaved soi alongside the shop. Salon chairs and stuff outside on pavement as per this Google street-view pic: http://g.co/maps/hn3pz

My gf and I found a cheap pair of scissors and a comb with razors between the teeth (never seen anything like it), and she now cuts my hair. I keep it short anyway bcuz of using helmet so I can never gel or style my hair, so short is the only way to go. She enjoys doing it and I like to make fun of her while she's doing it (and I save 70 or 80THB) per haircut for the same results! She's gotten really good at it. Of course, I then have to buy her KFC or Pizza Co., but, it's still worth it!

Funny though, she wont let me cut her long beautiful hair....strange.

This is a fantastic shop.

They sell everything regarding barber and hairdressing supplies, even hair saloon furniture and all at more or less wholesale prices.

They also sell massage oil, for those who are in to that sort of thing, hair coloring, shaving brushes and you name it, they have it.
