Im coming to Thailand at the end of this month, and I have not yet applied for a tourist. Im scheduled for 28 days, so i might be ok with a stamp, but if I want to stay longer, I might need to do a border run. Problem is, right now I only have 3 Visa pages left in my passport. If I come in with a stamp, and then do a border run, will I have enough pages? U think a stamp only takes a page, but a border run might take another page. I just wanna make sure I dont run out of pages. I already ahd pages added 2 years ago, so my passport is huge now. Not sure if I can add more pages at the embassy in BKK after arrival since I already added pages.

Thanks for your help.

Border runs to Malaysia and Burma invovle only relatively small entry/exit stamps (maybe these could even be fitted into the odd gap); for most no visa is involved but it depends on your nationality which you did not state in your Original Post.

Apply for a new passport at the embassy your first couple of days in Thailand. You need to make an appointment online, but it's a simple process. The new one will be ready for pickup in 2 weeks or less and you keep the old one until it arrives.

This may not apply if we are not the same nationality.

Only works if you are an American. According to recent reports, UK passports are taking over a month.

Get a visa as they will allow 90 day stay with less than two pages used. If US passport you can add pages at Embassy if only done once already.

by using E-Visa to Cambodia only small stamp is added no sticker as you print out the by reply delivered E-Visa , which you have to give on arrival one and one by departure to immigration

Actually the fee is $82 if done by a Consulate.

Memory failure. Should of checked website before posting.

A new passport costs $110. Plus cost of photos. It only takes two weeks to get new passport here compared to as much 6 weeks if done in the states unless you pay extra for expedited processing because you have a trip planned.
