Militants attack Afghan government building, killing 3 officers < br /> 2012-05-11 07:00:21 GMT+7 (ICT) SHARANA, AFGHANISTAN (BNO NEWS) -- At least three people were killed and several others were injured when a group of militants attacked a government building in the southeastern region of Afghanistan on Thursday, officials said. The attackers were also killed.The group of militants were wearing Afghan army uniforms when they stormed a government building in the Yahyakhel district of Paktika province. Provincial police chief Brigadier General Dawlat Khan Zadran told the Pajhwok Afghan News agency that the attack lasted about 90 minutes as security forces fought back.As a result, all six attackers - who were also wearing suicide vests - were eventually killed.
