Are You a Farang Kee Nok?
I'm calling BS on everything you are saying. Especially since you go on to actually agree that someone should be free to spend however they want. No one said anything about wanting to have something for free, least of all me. As I said, many Thais have a sense of entitlement to foreign people's money, no doubt based on being used to tourists visiting the country and spending freely. That entitlement then leads to feelings of resentment when "rich foreigners" aren't spending freely and enriching Thais. I believe that's basically what the phrase means. Hence they don't just use the Thai word for stingy or miserly. It's a special term for "bad foreigners" who don't spend like they're on holiday. So, if you prefer to save your money, not spend freely in Thai business, you may well deserve the title "farang kee nok". -

Here's a new one
Long term extension requirement is a bit moot, because when you have one of those you already have a bank account! So far non immigrant O (marriage) plus lease contract plus certificate of residence issued by CW immigration has not yet resulted in successfully opening a bankaccount, on as of now 8 attempts at 6 different banks. So simply not way in getting a 1 year extension based on marriage.... -

Israel leveling Gaza
Looks like you are an angry by product of the failed East German state. Are you enjoying the millions of Syrian and Afghanis who will not integrate into German society? Their presence in Germany has nothing to do with Israel. Yes the lower house passed a toothless resolution intended to address the large volume of hate speech and violence coming from the muslim refugee, asylum seekers and economic migrant community. In addition to their primitive culture, they have brought their ingrained sectarian hate and are implicated in multiple violent activities in their host nation. The violent attacks and hateful rallies only gained prominence when these people arrived in Germany. I was recently in Frankfurt. There was a large rally populated by mostly muslim and a small number of Germans who looked like they don't wash regularly. I saw many of the crowd in their hijabs and keffiyahs. They were protesting something, and based upon the banners and placards seemed to relate to Israel. The Germans walking by didn't seem to be too supportive. The police were rather nice about it too. I find that the German police are quite friendly. I have only been questioned once by German police and that was on my arrival in Berlin from Bangkok 20 years ago. They asked if I was carrying drugs. I laughed. They smiled and walked away. Probably, looking for my reaction. They had moustaches. Why is it so many cops have moustaches? What was your previous identity on AN?
