May 17, 201214 yr I was in Chong Kong haven't been there for years now that the bridge is going in there seems to be a real jump in the price of property, the local mayor in a town near the bridge that my wife and I know was telling us that a lot of land was bought by big companies and hotel chains and drove the prices up. Some areas were up in the millions of baht a rai. Looks like the area will turn in to a boom area soon like other border areas. any one else have info on the area? Was hoping to move to the area in the future love the people there and the charm of the area, they still seem to have a Real smile compared to bkk I am trying to load pictures of the bridge from my iPad won't let me I wil try later or will it let me?
