Physical Therapist, Specifically For Post Hip Surgery?

Recommended Posts

I know there was a recent thread about physical therapists after knee surgery and all of those recommended therapists and hospitals were noted.

However, physical therapists, just like doctors, often specialize in different areas. My wife has seen several physical therapists in the US but will be in CM soon and would like to continue therapy. She is recovering from surgery to repair a torn labrum and correct a femoroacetabular impingement.

So if any of you have had experience with physical therapists in CM after hip surgery, we like to hear your experiences.

Thanks.

There was a guy on here recently that had a hip replacement a couple of months ago and seems to be doing well.

He said Dr Chanarkarn did it at Rajavej, so likely any therapy would have been done there. I believe his nick was 'happyme'....search it out and perhaps send him a pm.

And of course there is always Pilates. Physical therapists have been incorporating PIlates for almost two decades now.

There is a western-run studio here - do a search for Pilates Chiangmai...
