Do you like living in Thailand Tommo? smile.png

Yep, it's really good, once you have the full picture.

You don't live here though, and have stated you never intend to.

What does my living arrangements have to do with the question?

Because you were about to launch into 'if you don't like it leave' rant, but we can't return that put-down as you never really were here in the first place. Romance tourists generally don't have much of an idea about the countries they do their romancing in.

Anyway, I wouldn't trust you either, it's not as if I'm sexist in my lack of trust, trust vastly over-rated IMHO.

Romance Tourists

Yes, I'll use this phrase from now on.

As you say -- kind and gentle.

Much more refined than "failure with women" or "sex tourist" or "can't get a bird back home".

Interestingly the three guys currently banging on about this romance tourist issue have each and every one flown to Thailand and taken up with Thai partners.

'Thais can't be trusted'. Not a one of them and especially not your gf or your wife.

That's quite a clever comment.

Love is for wimps.

Find a great-looking woman; shack up; start a family; produce fantastic kids.

And never bullshit yourself that you're getting unadulterated, 100% truth.

But you try to bullshit us with that, Andrew. You must be more susceptible to self-administered BS. coffee1.gif

If you live and work in Thailand, it's normal and natural to find a woman here.

But if the three of us become single again, we will not be on a plane to Scotland to find "romance" with little girlies queueing up at the local benefits office.

Know what I mean?

That sounds like comments from not a real man. A real man can fight, deal with stuff but also die for the love of his life, his lady. I really feel sorry for you and Tommo. sad.png

The love of my life is ME, dying for ME seems a tad counter-productive.

I hope you're not gonna start claiming 'yours is different'.

My life is obviously way different to yours. You carry on. thumbsup.gif
