Uk Unmarried Partner Visa - Advice Please!

Hello,

My girfriend is Filipina and we've been living here in BKK together for over two years. I'm British.

We can show evidence of this, having a place to stay in UK and sufficient funds.

We're both on Non-Imm Ed visas. So does that qualify her to be legally residing here? I guess so!

I currently support her with my wages, although I shouldn't be working. Will they want to look at where my money comes from?

Can we apply for the UK Unmarried Partner Visa here in BKK or should she go to Manila?

If you're legally resident here then you can submit here however whether they accept ED visas as legally resident here is down to the UK/BA interpretation.

Visa applications in Manilla are taking slightly longer than Bangkok as we submit in both countries. I suggest you drop them an email & get it in writing from them in Bangkok first.
