I suppose you would keep Suarez an all! Your post smacks of being our understudies for the last 25 years.....ah well job done as far as Sir Alex Ferguson is concerned. biggrin.png

He did his job and was successful at it ....very! Do you honestly believe Bill and Bob where saints?? rolleyes.gif

not like you to miss the point entirely.

he's a horrible, horrible arsehol_e and united fans should be embarrassed at this stuff. no mention of mcmanus and magnier in the book? his son jason and his bent dealings? pisses all over his best ever captain who he lauded to the heavens in his first 'book'? lobs beckham's name in there to generate a few more quid? he's pathetic.

bob paisley won three european cups by the way, without upsetting a soul and doing it with modesty and class. ferguson might have won the lot as i say but as a sportsman and a figurehead he remains a bad joke. so no, it's got nothing whatsoever to do with his pathetic "perch" jibe.

Embarrassed?

The man is a complete and utter legend that has brought unprecedented success to United for years!

Who gives a flying <deleted> what is in a book. You actually think he needs the money do you?...Fergies greatest asset was how he played the media and he continues to do so because until the day he dies .....he will be Mr Manchester United just like Sir Matt Busby was, your opinion is just that and i have to much respect for Bill and Bob to get into a slanging match let alone comparing there personality disorders in a game full of <deleted> anyway.

A bad joke!! I think that sums up your opinion of the greatest football manager ever to grace the British game....you should be embarrassed.

It seems to me that saf is up there with the greatest managers of our generation, if not the best. But I agree with others (admittedly not united supporters) that the man was not on the same level as the manager. His comments about ex-players seem to be spiteful, un-necessary, and unfathomable; why does he need to write a book at all, let alone one that slags off his players? I don't believe I would have liked him to have managed Liverpool (though obviously I cannot be certain).

I do know that we have a player that I do not respect as a man, but that I do as a player. Would I sell him today because I don't respect him? No way. Would I like to write him out of our success in the future? Probably. We crave success for our teams, and everything is a moment in timethat we think can change in the future. I believe that saf's reign lasted so long that he cannot be forgotten; and that is the problem. man u's teams have been successful, and probably because of the manger. Unfortunately that manager was disliked by most people in the game (his ego was apparent in his first book) who were afraid of the power he built up. Great manager, great teams, unfortunate personality.

As a side note, it's funny but every time I look at saf I think of my father, who passed away 6 years ago (an incredible likeness). If saf had half the (I'm not sure of the word, but my father was respected by everybody I met) my father had, he would have been revered for the great manager he undoubtedly was.

The moral of the story?????????? Don't put your name to a book that is written for entertainment, and enjoy respect as a man more than for your achievements.

Good result and some excellent play. need to find a way to fit kagawa in the team in his best position, but that means benching either rooney or rvp as all three cannot play together.

Benching Rooney would be a big mistake, I think they made a sensible decision not to sell him, he's playing very well and RVP needs him when available.

SAF was a man us City fans loved to hate.

He was undoubtedly a tremendous manager, and although his behaviour on the touchline was boorish at times, I am sure it was done on purpose, part of the mind games he used to play, which I begrudgingly admit, I kind of respected him for it.

One thing I totally disagree with are the comments that he is 'pathetic' and not respected. I have read and heard countless stories of him phoning 'lesser' managers who are struggling, and giving them advice and encouragement. I know personally a friend of Lee Sharpes, and what Fergie did for him in his early career.

The only player who is vociferous in his condemnation of SAF is Keane, who is a complete tool anyway.

As everyone knows, Fergie is the best at mind games and manipulating the press. It would not surprise me that the timing of this book launch coincides with Moyes' difficult times, which will detract some of the attention away from Moyes.

More people will be talking about the book than the real issue of what a proper sh!tty job Moyes is doing!laugh.png

Agree mate our best player this season by a mile, but to fit kagawa in either rooney or rvp has tp make way, and go from a 442 to 451, maybe rooney dropping deeper to midfield with kagawa in behind rvp might work, be a shame to waste kagawa on the bench he is a fantastic player when playing in his best position.

Sounds all a bit pc and prawn sarny like.....The whole ground should want to make an atmosphere otherwise one section singing is just like the away support isn't it?

I don't remember as a kid having a problem when my dad took me, obviously not the same ground

Since grounds became all seating it certainly has diminished the "atmosphere"-I remember as a kid watching the great Law/Best/Charlton perform and being told rather impolitely at Goodison Park one evening to stick my rattle where the sun does,nt shine just after we scored-happy days indeed tongue.pngtongue.pngtongue.png

It was standing then now a different ball game, lads go to the game together, but then have to split up to go to different parts of the ground where there seats are,all the lads are doing is trying to get like minded people who want to sing all together, also at united various parts of the ground the acoustics are not good, the 2nd tier of the stretford end is very vocal and sing all game but cannot be heard from the other end of the ground.

No it is not like the away support, the away support by the way is going to be moved up into tier 3 that is why this section is coming available and happens to be the best acoustic position and why away fans are heard louder.

Maybe they could pipe out some canned atmoshere nev Posted Image

They could get a Cockney announcer too so their fans know the score while tucking into the hot dogs and warm budweiser.

Moyes hails star man Shinji

David Moyes believes Shinji Kagawa produced his best performance this season in United's 1-0 win over Real Sociedad on Wednesday night.

The Reds beat the Basque side courtesy of a second-minute own goal and forged numerous chances afterwards to put the game to bed.

Japanese midfielder Shinji Kagawa was at the heart of many of United's best moves and missed a golden chance himself to add to the scoreline. Fans on ManUtd.com and the club's Twitter account voted him Man of the Match after the final whistle.

Making just his fourth start this season, Kagawa certainly made a strong case for retaining his spot in the side for Saturday's Barclays Premier League encounter against Stoke.

"I thought it was Shinji's best game in my time here," Moyes said.

"He hadn't really found his feet yet but I saw something from Shinji tonight which I hadn't seen in other games, so I was really pleased."

"His effort when we didn't have the ball was fantastic. With Shinji, everybody tells me about his ability and what he has got, but tonight is the first time I’ve really seen Shinji.

"I thought when we put him into the no.10 role, and even after it, he was good with Wayne. His attitude and energy were excellent and I was pleased for him."

So David......how can the lad show you what he can do if you don't pick him? These comments really don't endear him to us United supporters because they are fuc_king nonsense!
