One arrested as Russian tourist is caught-up in North Pattaya Necklace Snatch

PATTAYA:--One of two necklace snatch suspects were arrested by Pattaya Police on Friday morning.

The Russian victim of the alleged crime is Miss Moseeva Evgeniya aged 27. She was walking along the northern end of Pattaya Second Road when two men on a motorbike came up beside her and snatched her necklace from around her neck. The two men were able to escape for a time until the bike driver, who was able to run away, lost control of the bike and both assailants fell to the ground.

Members of the public were able to detain the bike passenger, Khun Boontuen aged 24 who was arrested when Police arrived. Miss Evgeniya along with the suspect were taken to Pattaya Police Station to file a Police Report
