I'm watching the opening game on C3 on our back up tv with the signal from the condo ariel, my big tv with the True box will now gather dust for a month, don't even mind the Thai commentary.

The words p*ss up and brewery spring to mind.

truevisions and Grammy show disregard for their customers by going on holiday for the weekend without resolving the issues. I will solve my issue the lady Gaga way. A nice free stolen signal from a shady satellite company and a box from Sky for real HD broadcasts. No money to Grammy Cd's and DVD's and True satellite anymore

Paddypower site has been blocked -

Most betting and porn sites are blocked in Thailand. You have to join a VPN in the UK to access the betting sites. About 5 quid a month. Then you can watch the matches on BBC and ITV if you have decent internet connection. 20 quid nil nil bore draw tonight!

Ha Ha. I believe you are out of pocket!

Truemove is a real suc***r . Just pay gummy and be a sport. I am selling all my truemove shares and hope everybody else does the same to pressure truemove . They have to be a true-Thai and stop taking advantage of gummy. I don't really watch football but getting Thai wordings on the channel is stressing me. ( I cannot understand the Thai words except for "2012 (EURO 2012) " )

I hope the top brass at TRUE enjoy their weekend

while the channels that are suppose to show the EURO

sit blank

God I hate TRUE

What a bunch of jokers

but props to Grammy for sticking to their guns

Bet there will be a run on grammy boxes tomorrow

dam_n it! Channel 3 is the only one with the fuzzy screen when I use the analogue cable.

Something's not right, try to find it on another frequency, they've upgraded the quality and changed to another band a few years ago.

I flicked through the channels and found a perfect channel 3. Using the condo aerial so no extra cost.

When I apply Thai 'philosophy' and laws of karma to this whole story it seems to me that it's just not meant to be that the people of Thailand and all others who reside here in one way or another are supposed to watch EURO 2012! Live that is. Tomorrow morning I will get up and make myself a cup of reasonable coffee and watch the highlights for about 15 minutes because that's all the time I want to spend on watching the good old footy these days and anyone who is older than 40 will know what I mean. Football is not what it used to be. Probably the final will be between Germany and The Netherlands and will end up being a shoot-out of penalties again and Germany will win, as usual....so boring, who cares. Good night, I'm away out for a soapy massage

Hi Everyone!

So the first EURO 2012 game has finished, what a great start to the championships!

Did anyone in the forum watch it on Thai Expat TV?

How was your experience?

Yep.... Think after the farce of English commentary for the world cup and this, their days could well be numbered. GMM have stood by their promise and shown games with English commentary. Could well be a power shift when the next bid commences for the EPL rights shortly. They will attract some already with Npower champ and Bundesliga coverage from next season.

Watched it with rooftop antenna on Ch 3 and 9, not HD but otherwise solid quality signal. There were a few freezes and the audio level sometimes fluctuates wildly but otherwise perfectly watchable.

English commentary on "Nicam 2" channel on my TV.

Also there's no advertising during the game like it was during previous Word Cup and Euro broadcasts. Don't see the need for the Grammy Box at all, not unless they buy Premier League rights.

Hi bangkok blue,

There is a short delay in our stream, this has been set so the stream can be 100% perfect for watching over here in Thailand.

Tonight we had around 200 people watching the stream simultaneously during the EURO 2012 opening match, although that is much less than our primary allocation of around 10,000 available live streams per channel (for our initial launch).

I can assure you that any EURO 2012 games that are streamed on Thai Expat TV for the full duration of the game, will be of high quality (depending on a min 3meg stable internet connection).

Cheers

Wes

Hi LuckyLew,

I really don't think that was the case, our software has not been infected with any viruses at all, this has been checked at the highest level.

Please can you clarify what virus was detected when you installed our software.

The software has already been installed by several hundred trial users, some anti virus software will not allow certain tasks to be created upon installation.

Some tasks include modifying connections in your firewall, so our stream can be watched without any interruptions.

Many Thanks,

Wes
