EDUCATION MINISTRY TO ENFORCE THE LEGISLATION OF SCHOOL TRANSFER

Education Minister CHATURON CHAISANG (จาตุรนต์ ฉายแสง) has commented that the legislation to transfer public schools education ministry to local administrative bodies will be enforced and cannot be delayed since no amendment to the law has been made yet and the government will be penalized for going against the cabinet resolution.

He insisted that not every school would be transferred at the first time and that the legislation will soon be effective. However, Mr. CHATURON reiterated that the transfer would only be done on a voluntary basis.
