I'm interested in replies from people working in a University to answer this one.

I will be going on a visa run next week to Penang. I'm not convinced that the University have given me the required documents.

I have no idea if Universities are treated differently to schools which is why I'm asking the question, are these documents the only ones I need from the University:

1. Contract

2. Invitation to employ

3. Validation of my qualifications

I know about the documents I can produce ie. photocopies of passport/degree, photos etc. I just need to know what documents other people have had to get their single entry Non B.

Thanks in anticipation.

Lopburi3, the web site that list is copied from is the Thailand Embassy in KL because the Penang Consulate does not list visa requirements on their site. It seems that any list of required documents from Penang consulate can only be acquired by direct contact via email or phone.

Unfortunately even being in the same country does not mean the requirements will be the same (as is evident with the difference between Vientiane and Savannakhet in Laos and the easy multi entry from KL but not from Penang in Malaysia).

Penang do actually answer the phone; so I would recommend the OP phones to get their list of requirements.

Thanks to everyone for your help. I finally managed to find a working tel.no. and email address for Penang so will ask them exactly what they require.
