I dit not see a "niple"

But, had the censors not pixelated her chest you might have seen a perky pair of titties covered in appropriate "red" & "yellow" paint complete with nipples. Yes,nipples, you know those disgusting things that all women have on their breasts.

Nipples, those nasty little buds that humans require for sustenance for the first year of their life and then males later spend large amounts of time and/or money trying to repeat the performance.

Those things that have been relegated to being considered obscene and disgusting by various societies.

I am not a prude and frankly, although the contestant wasn't bad looking, she was lacking in the talent department and may find what she can do appeals more to customers of Hollywood go-go bar. The female judge, Pornchita (Benz), has already displayed her so called talent in the pictures in previous posts.

Basically the young lady offended the sensibilities of the Thai people who are not renowned for their broad minded attitudes to this sort of thing.

Shootings, beatings, blood, gore and female abuse are much more acceptable to Thai viewers.sad.png

This Pornchita has really gone overboard in the "nose-job" department. I am sure she is some kind of famous tv personality here in Thailand but this lame nose-job fab here in Thailand needs to stop.

We like your flat baby noses!

Pornchita here looks like she could be a ladyboy. I kept stairing at that BIG jewish nose like it was from the movie Roxanne.

2 last girlfriends had nose job, current 1 wants to do it.

Come on save your money on nosejobs and tattoos and make saving account for tomorrow!

Roger that! Darned if I can understand why all of these Hi-So's insist on getting nose jobs, bum jobs, boob jobs, eye jobs etc etc? Walking down the street you can see hundreds of pretty women in their natural face and figure...these TV pretties must have a very low opinion of themselves! thumbsup.gif

I think the female judges reaction was unnecessary. She should be above reactions like that, and should learn to be a little more adult in the way she acts.

Dont be so kin stupid its Thailand they only have a 1 second attention span and the intellect of a 5 yr old..................in many cases ( not generalising)

I'll bet that all who say that the canvas had no artistic merit know three eighths of F A about modern art. The weirdos who control the Tate Gallery in London were proud to display a pile of bricks in the name of art. I don't like or appreciate Picasso or Salvador Dali but those who do will pay millions for something attributed to them. It's all a matter of taste - or it's all in the mind you know.

You not liking it doesn't make it rubbish.

I agree about the nose jobs, but I had to do a deal with my Thai lady 5 years ago. She wouldnt let me buy her a pair of nice new silicone boobies unless she could have a nose job too. Fair deal, I thought! She's still beautiful but I preferred her old little Thai nose. And she's really happy with the boobs given all the extra 'attention' they get from me now.

The female judge appeared to be more upset with the crowds reaction than with the "painter". The judge appeared to look at the crowd and say something (I'm guessing along the lines of " Are you serious ? You liked that ? ") and the crowd roared again. I think that is what had her most upset, that it seems she was the only one indignant about the act.

She could have made a statement, she could have said something about the girls that do 'jobs' that some people on this forum even believe they do that for fun. Say something about the fact that the Thais don't seem to know that it's happening in their country; Thailand, the only country where prostitution doesn't exist. Say something about that little town down on the Southeastern coast of the Gulf of Thailand, and tell the local police that people don't only go to those bars to drink a beer or two... if our friends in brown would know...

Instead, she just said ...... nothing. Well, something stupid that if she would paint with her hands, nobody would notice it.

Art is supposed to be something to express something, but pure provoking to get more attention is not exactly expressing an opinion.

This country needs girls like this to make statements that matter, and I'm fine if they would do it like this, but she missed her chance. Hopefully, she thinks it over for the next show, to come up with something wise.

pity the culture minister finds the thai soaps with murders, gangsters, mafia shootings, kidnap, and bitches slapping eachother around while screaming insults acceptable, but thinks gaga and this taletless titless "fame for a day " thai girl, more important issues to comment on than the violence that is also on tv at unsuitable times for kids , i know which one i think more suitable for my kids,...... and its not a pair if norks ! it's just a bare chest <deleted>.

This was more tat than tit.

Just another stupid talentless tart trying to gain attention and publicity by exposing herself in the media.

Many so-called celebrities with flagging careers do it all the time in order to bring themselves into the limelight and there are websites full of women like her.

What surprises me is why the acts of these idiots are not vetted before the shows? As this is bound to attract the attentions of those non-entities seeking to turn they’re weird and mentally deranged behaviours into their finest hour.

But in this case the women did gain a result, because this has now hit the International headlines, but at what cost to her I wonder? I describe it as death by porno.

And for those that believe this girl was trying to express something or making a statement, the only thing she was stating was her stupidity.

It certainly is a smack in the face for the do gooders that say; women are the victims of the desires of men, when it actuallity it is the women who are promoting their sexuality and as sexual objects, themselves.

Thai Ministry of Culture concerned over 'inappropriate' topless painting TV show

My, she has been busy lately. First it was the Lady Gaga - Thai flag incident, now this. I hope she can hold up under the pressure. It does appear that she has her Big Macs, French Fries and CocaCola to soothe her frayed nerves.

I pulled this of the interwebs:

Talent

1. A marked innate ability, as for artistic accomplishment. See Synonyms at ability.

2.

a. Natural endowment or ability of a superior quality.

b. A person or group of people having such ability: The company makes good use of its talent.

3. A variable unit of weight and money used in ancient Greece, Rome, and the Middle East.

According to this, she definitely fits definition 2a.

Baring breasts on TV under guise of art not acceptable: culture minister

Jeerapong Prasertpolkrang

The Nation

30184411-01_big.jpg

BANGKOK: -- Culture Minister Sukumol Kunplome said yesterday that Thai society found the Sunday episode of Thailand Got Talent, featuring a female contestant painting on canvas with her bare breasts, unacceptable.

Hence, she said, the ministry would call a meeting with the show's organisers, editing crew and censoring agency to discuss the issue and find solutions.

The minister went on to say that since the show was broadcast in the evenings, many of the viewers were youngsters, and exposing them to such images was wrong. Therefore, she said, parents needed to explain to their children that though the 23yearold contestant claimed it was an expression of art, there should be some limits.

Sukumol also said the programme's producer should explain why inappropriate content like this was not edited out, because the show is not broadcast live. She said she was shocked to see the seminaked contestant facing the camera at one point.

Meanwhile, an informed source said many people had filed complaints via the 1765 hotline, urging the Culture Ministry to find out why inappropriate images were being aired during family time.

Rabiebrat Pongpanich, president of the Association of Happy and Warm Family Promotion, also slammed producers of the show of being far too focused on commercial gains, when an image like this should have been cut at the audition stage. She added that though it was up to the police to decide whether it was a criminally lewd act, the producers should apologise to the public. She also claimed that broadcasting images such as this was a reflection of society's addiction to sex.

Chalermchai Kositpipat, who was named national artist last year, said Thais might find it difficult to accept body painting as an art form, even though it was widely recognised overseas. However, he added that though the contestant's presentation may have been obscene, it wasn't really beautiful, interesting or valuable. He also said the woman did not really understand the essence of bodypainting as an art form and was focusing more on showing off her body instead of presenting her work as a piece of art and concentrating on its colours, lines, weight and texture.

From society's point of view, Chalermchai said the art of body painting might be considered inappropriate in Thailand, but at least people were discussing the subject and some might realise that not all paintings are made by hand.

Meanwhile, in response to the criticism, Workpoint Entertainment executive Panya Nirankul Workpoint Entertainment CEO Panya Nirunkul said yesterday that contestants would no longer be allowed to behave in a controversial manner in the show again. Besides, he said, Thailand Got Talent was not able to compete with other shows anyway.

"If I were a judge, I would certainly not let this show move to another round," he said, adding that the show was only being broadcast so some people could show off their talents.

Un-edited pics or it never happened.

Have any of you seen the ads in Thai magazines with all manner of asian beauties with their boobs (alright no nipples) on show? Normal magazines that Thai teens read. Then there's the adverts that come on Thai cable (Samart, etc) from about 10pm - 5am with girls trying to pursuade you to call them whilst wearing as little as possible without showing a nipple. Then there's the many many Thailand-based internet forums that carry these same adverts, but they actually do show nipple. (darkzone.in.th for example) The culture ministry seems to find that acceptable. Oh, that might have something to do with the money, right?

I always find it laughable the culture ministry are outraged, even when it's faux outrage, as this is.

If what she was doing was sexualized in front of children, then fair enough, that is wrong. There's nothing sexual in what she does at all. She even faces away from the audience. People at home got a better look at the pixellated boobs than anything anyone in the audience saw.

If they've got a free spot on the next series of TGT, I'll glad show them the "Farang Sausage Painting Extravaganza."

The culture ministry haven't seen anything yet!

Lastly, TGT doesn't go out live. Someone in their production staff made the decision to air this as it is, with blurring of the boobs and must have got approval. So they knew they were safe.

As another person alluded to earlier the whole thing appears very staged. The Thai "Ant & Dec" properly ham it up. The judges the same. All done with the approval of the culture ministry of course. No way TGTs production staff would gamble on incurring the real wrath of the ministry.

The more pertinent question would be "Why?" after "Who the fudge cares?".

What really amazes me is how much emphasis is placed on the female body.

An average looking girl like this exposes some flesh in public and than it becomes worldwide headlines. I’m sure if this would have been a guy than the whole incident would hardly had been news worthy.

The problem is that it makes some women consider themselves of more importance and that even the average lookers are desirable to all men. This in fact can have the result of increasing human trafficking and make women appear more lucrative in the sex industry because the gangs that run them consider that they have a product even more valuable than drugs or contraband.

It is the women themselves that are promoting the false facts that they are all sex objects. No wonder there are so many relationships based on financial and materialistic gain and so many women will sell themselves to the highest bidders, because they believe that their bodies are a valuable asset and should have a price tag.

On the whole most women are exhibitionists, the media is full of them and than there are those who like to flaunt it but are unable to cope with the criticisms and attentions of the aftermath that comes with it and will allege that they are the victims of men’s evil and immoral desires.

The answer is; that if woman wish to be treated with more respect, than is to keep their bodies under wraps and reserved for their lovers or partners or to keep their sexual exploits and exhibitionism as private.

I am not a prude and enjoy seeing attractive women in provocative poses or situations as much as the next guy, but it doesn’t mean that I view them as being women of esteem or the sorts of girls I would be proud to take home and introduce them to mother.

My point is that how women are perceived in the public eye is down to the images they portray of themselves and how much they value their reputations. It`s their choice and some comments made by men cannot be considered as derogatory when there are women prepared to use their bodies either for gain or as a means of obtaining a fast track way of bringing attention and publicity to themselves as in this case of the TGT incident.
