FireMedic
Can anyone provide a working email for the Pattaya Tourist Police. Pattaya1155 email is going unanswered.
LucidLucifer
I'd expect any email you send will go unanswered. Phone calls won't yield much better results. Go in and speak to them face to face if you can, you'll have far greater success. Edited June 19, 2012 by LucidLucifer

Also, Thais would use the Royal Thai police.. why would they need to use the tourist police which was setup to assist the foreign tourists

maprao
The primary function of the tourist police is to police tourists, not to assist them. That's why they were set up. No? No, They helped with a jet ski scam where damage did occur as a result of a third party capsizing my Jet Ski. They reduced the repair bill from 80,000 Baht to 16,000 Baht. I have the greatest respect for them. .....and yes they did speak English.

simple1
There are no Foreign Tourist Police Assistants at Police Stations in Pattaya. So the English guy at Soi 9 who assisted me when a Thai family member was killed in a hit and run was my imagination?
petercool
simple1, I was responding to a misunderstanding that Foreign Tourist Police Assistants (FTPA) are the same as Foreign Police Volunteers (FPV). They are a totally separate group with separate responsibilities and members. FTPA patrol Walking street and FPV man help desks at stations.
