Wat Phrathat Ha Duang , Li, south of Lamphun on the 106 highway . Notice all the animals from the “ year of “ signs in the above photo, very nice. Look at the detail on these doors !! Also in the roof space above the doors !! Unfortunately i wasn’t able to view inside . Here’s another in the same grounds !! Don’t know who’s selling them their gold paint but he’s making an absolute fortune !! Had to leave my mark ( + the gf and her family members ) in this beautiful place . Before I lived in Navanakorn and could see the glow from the dome at sunset . It truly is the weirdest of the weird. Halfaboy Posted February 7, 2020 Share Posted February 7, 2020 Some pictures of Prasaat Nontapleng (Chopaka, Ban Kruat, Buriram). The (remnants) of this building are from a Chapel for a rest-house in Mahayana Buddhism (13th century). Although the building looks like just a heap of stones, there is still lots of magic powers around. So much that monks cannot stay in the direct area.
