You might be eligible for a visa on arrival which would give you a 15 day entry.

I will be getting a 30 day VOA. My holiday is for 2 months so I wanted to the Tourist Visa instead of leaving Thailand to get the 2nd month.

There is no such thing as a 30 day VOA. There is a 30 day visa exempt entry for those that qualify. If you qualify for that then you should not have a problem getting a tourist visa at an embassy or consulate.
