I would like to ask if anyone knows bout sewing class in Phuket? I live in Koh Keaw which is 10 min away from Phuket town.

The "salapat chang" college, is conducting sewing class; it is located at the right hand side corner just before the building issuing driving license in Phuket town.

My Thai GF is already a seamstress, a lot of Thai girls have previously worked in sewing factories and are quite proficient on a regular machine, I bought a "Elvira" sewing machine, they had a shop, but now i think located in the big C mall, part of the service was sewing lessons and technical training on all the functions of the machine, invaluable piece of kit, paid for itself 100 times over, made drapes, covered many sofa's, curtains for business.

I joke not, in the early 60's we had nothing and my father used to make clothes for me as a kid on a sewing machine, ah the good old days

Sewing classes are available with Dress designer Templeton Dean for beginners, and those who are intermediate or advanced. 500thb for 3 hours. Call 083-521-9993
