Gluai hom. The bigger bananas and the same shape as the ladys fingers.

I live in Khampaeng Phet province which I understand has the largest number of different types.

There are red bananas north of KPP in the Lampang region I believe.

Hello All, till Oct. 2 there is a food fair in the Main Hal(by Mc D's)l at The Mall Korat.

The far side, away from Mc D's is a display of bananas, and plants are for sale.

For info on growing bananas and where you can buy plants, try the Farming Forum,

there are several threads already with some pictures, just use the search function.

Anyone know which variety I have growing in this pic on my land??

Its grows everywhere around here, smallish bananas when ripe but i also have Musa siam ruby, ensete maurelli , Musa cavendish dwarf, Musa Velutina.

I used to grow bananas outdoors in England too.
