Drug users, dealers and Bribery suspect arrested by Pattaya Police

PATTAYA:--Pattaya Police arrested a motorbike taxi driver and two other women in connection with an undercover drug operation in South Pattaya.

Police arrested an additional eight men at a Police Checkpoint also in South Pattaya accused of consuming class 1 drugs after failing roadside drug tests. The main case, as described by Police Colonel Pantanna, acting Pattaya Police Chief, at a press conference at Pattaya Police Station on Wednesday Night, involved Khun Camfong aged 43 who works as a motorbike taxi driver close to the Bali Hai Port in South Pattaya. He sold 5 Yabba Tablets to an undercover officer armed with marked bank notes and was then escorted to his home close to the port.

Inside the property was Khun Somganokgorn aged 46 and because further drugs were found there, she was also arrested. Later in the night Police received a call from Khun Supaporn aged 37 who attempted to negotiate the release of the two suspects in exchange for 30,000 Baht in cash.
