Mystery surrounds dead body found at Rubbish Dump in Jomtien

PATTAYA:--The body of a man was discovered lying face-down in a rubbish dump off the Sukhumvit Road in Na-Jomtien on Monday afternoon.

Police and rescue services were called to the scene to deal with the deceased man who was carrying no forms of identification. Police are sure the man is a Thai National aged around 35. It is thought he had been dead for at least 24 hours.

An inspection of the body by Police was made and it was clear there were a number of deep knife wounds to his head and face. The body was found by Khun Tiriya aged 54 who came to the area to look for recyclable items and stumbled across the body. Nothing else is known about the deceased man
