How can I send a few thousand dollars directly to my American bank from Thailand? When I asked at my bank they said I needed a work permit to do. I do not have a work permit but have a one year retirement visa. Any ideas ?

Give me 10% of the amount and ill make it happen. Otherwise just find a Thai you trust to send the money to your american bank and pay them the money.

I know with the yellow bank you can open a US$ account maybe if you did that you could transfer from bank to bank either way just a thought worth looking into .
