Nutritional Food Yeast Available Locally?

Featured Replies

My supply of large flake nutritional yeast is dwindling so am

wondering if I can buy it locally or online from a Thai company.

Ordering it from Amazon, my usual source when I lived in California,

will probably be costly for shipping.

I've included photos of the stuff taken with my notebook camera so

the images are reversed, especially noticable on the package label.

I don't think it is available here. I've tried to find it for a popcorn topping and could not locate it anywhere in Thailand. GNC at KSK used to carry it a few years ago, but not anymore. .

Is yeast really that nutritional? 99% here get plenty in bread or beer. Apart from the Vegemite extract from God of course that fuels the horrific, enormous Aussie organs and unrelenting animal stamina (sorry another post).

There are issues of blood yeast infestations, Candida etc?

Just pondering . Is there a difference between Brewers yeast and the yeast you are after and would the availability be restricted so people do not home brew?? Also the yeast required for bread making - what is the difference ?. Obviously i don't know much about yeast chemistry.
