PATTAYA:--A Japanese Resident at a South Pattaya apartment complex lost the equivalent of around 500,000 Baht in Japanese currency and personal items on Sunday after his room was broken into.

Police were called to the Green Lantern Apartments in Soi Bongkot and to room number 4 on the second floor, occupied by Mr. Makoto Yamasaki aged 43. The front door had been forced open and a money bag contained within his room safe had been emptied of all cash and Mr. Yamaski’s personal items had been strewn across the room.

Hotel staff reported the swift exit of two Middle-Eastern men who occupied a 3rd floor room, earlier in the night.
