Good View & Riverside Restaurants

Just been to both on consecutive nights and they do not disappoint ... I have been to both places through the years and they continue to be stalwarts for a great night out

With a party of 4 expect to pay within the range of 1500 for food & drinks unless u are heavy drinkers

Music wise the vibe in good view and the resident bands are better in getting the crowds on their feet

Service wise riverside seems to have the edge with attentive staff while Good View are very youngsters who do their best to please but their inexperience shows

For views good view has better sitting arrangments and I recommend that you take the waterfall side of riverside if u like a quieter ambience

I stopped by good view one morning and had a cup of tea and enjoyed the river.

But when I got a 115 baht bill just for tea I thought it was over the top. Tried there buffet breakfast and was thurley disappointed. Have not tried the evening entertainment yet.

Sounds good. I just hope the food is better than what they had out for there buffet.

Haven't tried the riverside yet.
