Farming In Lao

Recommended Posts

Short and sweet, except for Richard [ who I will see on Saturday ] is there anyone farming in Lao, or has knowledge of the rules there. Had a look at the net and can't find much.

This will not per say be a farang venture, but a Thai one [wife].

As many know we live on the border, family both sides and we have been offered a deal on the other side of the border, not a long drive in an off road four wheel drive.

Seems all land is state owned etc.

So any ideas, personally I see it as a no go, but it never hurts to check these things out. Jim

Jim there were a couple of guys living in Laos, Lovelaos and Hopdafru, maybe an idea to drop them an e-mail. The posted about fishfarming on a river, but they may know or be able to make enquiries for you.
