Immigration Closed On Asanha Bucha Day (Thurs) And/Or Buddhist Lent (Fri)?

Any idea? I believe it is closed Thursday and open Friday but I've read conflicting info.

Oh great. I need to be down there by the 8th for my 30 day extension of my tourist visa and will be just getting back into town then. Anyone know a good visa agent who can deal with this in my absence?

Guess it helps to know all pertinent holidays.

You can get an extension on a tourist visa at any immigration office, not just Bangkok.

An agent is not needed, just have a passport photo and 1,900 baht and fill in a form.

No it is not closed Monday - until Monday meaning "up to" rather than '"up to and including". You are not allowed entry until Monday.
