Shots fired as two groups of men collide at restaurant in Sattahip

SATTAHIP:--A drunken fight between two groups of men at a Restaurant in Sattahip led to shots being fired and one man sustaining a serious head injury early on Thursday morning.

Sattahip Police were called in and were confronted by Chaotic scenes. Everyone involved in the incident, 6 local Navy recruits and 4 men from Kon Kaen Province in the North-East of Thailand were rounded-up and taken to the Police Station. A firearm which was snatched by one of the victims from one of the navy recruits was seized.

Police determined that a fight between the two groups led to one of the local recruits pulling out a gun and shooting twice in the direction of the smaller group from Kon Kaen. During the altercation, Khun Boonchai aged 22, who had already been injured by a bottle which had been smashed over his head by one of the recruits, managed to disarm the shooter and turned the gun on the recruits who fled.

Poor performance, 6 against 4... The recruits should go back to training, I don't feel very safe now should Cambodia attack Pattaya.
