When I first arrived in LOS, I initially took those rounded plate-shaped auto roof top protrusions to be 'satellite' dish/antennas, but now know to be auto interior air purifiers.

Are these auto interior air purifying systems effective?

Nothing to do with air purifying.

Just simple exhaust ventilators, originally designed for under the hood, and now mounted on the roofs of cars.

Do not work very well with airco really.

ZTo be fair they work wonder to bring down a few degrees the temperature under the hood.

And work wonder if you smoke in the car, tranport a dog, or have eaten gassy......

But airco and extraction?

No!

Don't need if you change your diet.
