As in the title, just been on British embassy website and couldn't find the C2 application form for kids passport.

Now it seems I have to send the application to hong long , Is this right ?

If so can I renew them in london UK ?

If anyone has done this bit of guidance would be appreciated

Likewise when I've done it will post

After looking on net for days the answer is NO, you need to be in the UK to apply

Now you have to apply via hong kong. Even though it's sent from the UK

Kids passport cost £81.50 + £20 DHL fee

Only in UK

Can you offer me any advice?

My kid was born here (thai wife) 10 months ago, I am just waiting on my birth certificate to arrive from the UK. I wish to make him a UK passport. Do I need to go to bangkok to apply and also what documents would I need?

Cheers

When I did my sons passport 2 years ago, I went to the British embassy in Bangkok, paid the appropriate fees, they sent in to hong kong, I collected the passport from the embassy around 3 weeks later.

When I did my sons British passport, I brought with me, a copy of my mother and fathers marriage certificate and copy of their passports to prove they are British citizens. You need a full length birth certificate of yourself, current passport, copy of driving licence, your wife's passport, copy of Id card, (maybe tabien ban)! Your sons birth certificate if Thai has to be translated, Thai passport if has one!

I did this 2 years ago, sorry if I missed something out!

Take as much documents as possible, the staff at the embassy will sort it out, all documents were copied and signed!

However on their passports it says IPS rather than FCO , interesting ,
