Hi battersea - I'd advise to check with a couple of local business' who have alarm systems already installed.

Check with them which companies they have used & if the system/product/support is satisfactory.

Then get at least 3 quotes & compare.

You can get systems to text you when an alarm occurs.

You can get combination motion sensors that are designed to work effectively in the high temperatures of Udon Thani.

You'll need back up in case of power cuts.

Maxwell Security fitted mine some four years ago now. It was state of the art then. Have a look at their web site ... just google Maxwell Security.

I have the wisdom ... it will phone me if it goes off. Can be switched or off from your phone etc etc it has been very reliable.

I can give you a guys name if you PM me or jst contact the company. The team who fitted it were very good ... the guy I'm thinking of speaks good english.
