(More and more people are astonished what kind of people GB produces..Just look around the Pattaya streets....The scene is dominated by Brit lowlifes.)..

Take a walk around the streets of london now and it seems that half the population is permanantly high on something.

I have been offered "some-fink" for the week end sir at 7-30 in the morning on the way to work ( no not a packet of 3) from whats usually looks like a human who has spent the night under a stone.

The UK and esp.London now has the reputation of having the highest number of dealers, users, druggies.pinheads, drongos, skunkies, and dopheads in the EU and probabally all controlled by your local friendly yardie enterprenures.....free green shield stamps included :o They gotta go somewhere to avoid the crowds..

Following Kiernans arrest it might be worth it for the UK government to consider offering all convicted drug crims. a free holiday in LOS and give them a send off in pairs of black jeans.(just in case)

I feel sorry for the passengers who probabally had to sit beside this gentleman for the 12 hours plus flight on the way out, although I supect he may have gone Business or First Class...so thats all rite-innit mate :D

Doesn't socialism just produce wonderful results? From an empire to a 3rd rate drug induced whining, snivelling mass of crap.

Oh I'm sorry, I think it was called "Fabianism" ( same thing)

The brits certainly had a chance at making the changes and adjustments to their way of thinking as a whole new template was created and obviously scrutinized by the world after 1776. But all they did was whine and snivel their way down the tubes ( it ain't over yet either)

But then again, the ancestors of the folks who did in fact create the first ( as great and free as it's ever gonna get ladies and gentlemen place in world history)(Duh, the US babee) is going down the same road as the brits.....without even firing a shot.

How pathetic.

This is all to be expected.

Mr Vietnam :D

Let's be a little more careful about slagging the US, pal. What third-world country you from? :o

USA

Not 3rd world ( yet)

Except in mentality, which has been heading along that road for quite some time. You're conclusive evidence of that.

Pretty pathetic. The brits ( or anyone else for that matter) copy the template created from 1776 to 1861.

But Americans sure as heck are copying the same failed socialism from the Brits.

You don't really want to show your ignorance and start thumping your chest now do you?

Shit happens?

How about plain old "Shit Simple"!

Another example of how the country that ruled the world obviously didn't share the wealth with their subjects. Maybe 5% saw the wealth and the rest ended up like this poor guy's ancestors. Their "Reagan in a skirt" finished off any hopes of low class oafs like this getting a bit of education and common sense.

I am rather surprised to find out that so many judges seem to be member of this forum. It might be a good idea to ask the Thai Government if it could be possible to have foreigners judged by a special jury compiled of foreigners.

Wouldn't it be a very special sensation to sentence somebody to death or to life (what life?) in a local prison? Maybe badges could be made for you to wear: Volunteer Judge, with small stars on it for death-sentences en little moons for 'life-imprisonments'.

A beer bar could be turned into a courtroom and in stead of writing your verdict down in these columns you could speak or shout them into a microfoon.

Special awards could be given to the judges harvesting the loudest applauds by insulting the suspect.

Think about it!

Limbo, tsk tsk, I don't know if your a Brit by nationality, but surely the past 6 months or more it seems the Brits in Thailand are getting busted left and right.

So, anyway it is the Brits who are talking here being the judges so to speak, like Mr. Vietnam just posted here. I for one is an American and not this awful stupid to be such an idiot bringing dope especially to Thailand where only a small amount can give you the Death Penalty.

I think now the Immigrations thruout the Country are closely watching those coming from the Europe sector especially from England, since much of those getting arrested are coming in from England.

I mean look at this at first being 19 years old obviously was bad itself, and perhaps being literally stupid and naive mentally at that age can be offered as some excuse, but being well over 30 years old, there is no excuse but a sheer dare to anyone like it being some challenge etc. This person brought in minimum double than what the kid brought. So this is no accident by any means.

It seems that the Brits want to play games with their freedom. I don't know, but for me freedom is literally everything life holds dear to me and I sure as heck won't play games with it.

Mr. Vietnam spot on!!!!!! I love ya of your intriguing comments.

Why is everybody atacking or defencening his citizenship and try to compare it towards each other.

This guy is lucky enough to life and tell the story "that shit happens".

If he had a Thai passport 50 tabs where enough for a piece of lead.

And it is not only dope trafficing what put us (foreigners) in the picture.

What about all those illigal immigrants.

Oh sorry they have just only overstayed there visa fore a year of two.

And all these company (read bar) owners are respectable business people who forgot to pay tax or register in the richt way etc. etc. etc. etc.

The law is the law and thats in every country so if you play with fire and get burned don't complain.(what he didn't by the way).

I find it more amazing that he was arrested for not wearing a shirt than smuggling.

So this is illegal ? What other laws would catch out most Westerners, I really did'nt know that. No warning, put a shirt on please, just arrest that farang ? Do the police treat all tourists like that ? And nobody thinks this is strange ?

Am I over-reacting, or is this weird ?

Regards

:o "I can't even get out to have a look around," he complained.

He doesn't have a clue does he? Probably keeps annoying the jail staff with "When can I go check out the girls?"

If this dimwit get's the death penalty I think it's gonna be more a case of natural selection than judicial intervention....

Limbo your're right, he is probably innocent, who are we to judge him? He didn't have X on him, it was asprin. Or maybe he was grabbed by a TUK TUK driver, stripped of his clothes and then thrown into a park with 9000 hits inside the TUK TUK driver's fancy black jeans left in the pocket by mistake. Or maybe that he admitted he came to Bangkok to sell X was just to get attention.

First thing: This guy gotta be the dummest dip shit on earth. I have never heard about a similar stupid thing in my hole life. By the way: His comment after they cought him was first class. He still must have been high or very very very dumb. Anyway I think it's Ok to put him in the Hilton for a long time. Death penalty would be a little bit to harsh. But they won't put him to death anyway. You do this shit in Thailand, you gotta take the consequences. In my country the guy would be in the joint not even a couple of days for this, but he didin't do it in my country. I wish him all the best and a good stay in Thailand.

P:S. Not only English are drug dealers and low lifes

I thought and thought and thought about it....... Nothing has changed!

Thanks for your reactions!

I think we all agree, that the arrested man might be of unsound mind. A victim of himself. By not adapting (or being able to adapt) to reality he created the most horrible and sad fate for himself. He destroyed his life.

I am happy to read that it wouldn't happen to you and I am happy to think that it wouldn't happen to me either.

He will undoubtedly have a father. Maybe he also has a 'best friend'. Or brothers, younger or older. He might even have a son, however probably not.

So keep an eye on your father, your friends, your brothers and your sons.

If things like this cannot happen to you, prevent it from happening to them.

Have a nice week!

i think we all agree he ate a couple hits of X and got busted, then confessed to wanting to sell them in Bangkok. TIT, they don't give a rat's ass about why you brought drugs into Thailand or whether you may need prozac.

Limbo, try your psycho analysis on Michael Jackson, this guy's reaction is "shit happens" and believe me, shit is going to happen to him in jail.

Should we ignore our mother, and sisters and daughters?

This guy has gotta win the d***head of the Century award. Absolutley unbeliveable thats all I can say. If he was that paraniod he should have just checked into another hotel, stashed drugs, and pinned a big do not disturb sign on the door!!!

And he says "shit happens", oh my what a thing to say when outta your head. When he eventually comes down, he will have a nice 20 yr stay in Jail, to re-think his actions.

Dr Patpong??? Tony B and Thaksin good friends??? where on earth did you get that c**p from. Yeah they are that good friends that he sent John Prescot his deputy out to Thailand as he didnt wanna go himself, and Thailand was completley missed from his Aisa tour back in July.

Definatley NOT good friends, I can assure you of that!
