Do you have a one year multiple entry visa or an extension of stay you applied for at immigration?

You can use the visa up to the date it expires and get another 90 entry. After that you can make a trip to a Thai embassy or consulate and get a new visa.

A new extension can be applied for as much as 30 days before your current permit to stay ends. But never after that date or you would be overstaying.

Thanks for the info,

I currently have one year Non O Multile entry visa based on taking care of my kid. As I went to immigration for another year extension, they asked me to come back 11th September (my visa is valid until 11 October). I was confused. Well anyway, i'm going back on the date they asked me to, just follow I guess.

Do u know if the 400k bank account for 3 months' rule still applies for My Non O situation same as for marriage extension?

Thanks for the reply.

The date they gave you is the earliest date to apply.

For an extension based upon having a Thai child there is no requirement for the money to be in the bank for a period of time. For marriage it is now 60 days.

Ok, so do you mean I don't have to show any bank balance ar all for this visa or it just doesn't have to be in the account for a period of time but I still need to show some funds deposited?

I'm confused but still trying my best,

Thanks for ur input Ubonjoe.

400k is required and bank book and bank letter of account balance. But it does not have to have been in account any set period of time.
