I was in the dealers today and saw this new Honda, the scoopy i S12. Looks neat in black. Anyone tried one, what's it like compared to say the Click i, and prices ?

I like the way the indicators are no longer out on stalks.

But it doesn't have the advanced (eSP) engines they now put in the Clicks.

Starting prices (Scoopy 45k) are a bit cheaper than the Clicks (48k), but not by a lot.

So you save 3k but the Scoopy engine is 'last years technology'.

I thought the new s12 was a helmet in model.

It also comes with some new break system that got recalled by Honda a few months ago but it's fixed now.

But at least one review does say 'full face', looks like you will have to check for yourself to find the truth.

I like the Spacy I better. Same motor and frame. But more storage space and more fuel at 5.5L

My wife wants the fatter wheels and tires, I like the idea of tubless being safer so we will have them mounted. Good all around bike I think

The mag wheels look attractive, nice and smooth all the way around. Oh plus they come with fatter dunlop tires.

I think the front is like a 90/60r12 and the back a 110/60r12

IMO the vans boys rims and tired look horrible

I like that the new Scoopy I S12 has Tubless Tires, no more flat tires or at least not as often!

There are two Scoopy models out since one years or so: the classic and the S12. The latter did not enjoyed much success as historically Thai like "tall wheel" scotter better.

Both have minor improvements over the previous model, bodied indicators, bigger underseat storage, seat clock switch. Both still have the 110cc engine and I don't think they will ever get the ESP 125cc.

The S12 has 12" rims, that can be attractive to ladies and might lower the seat hight by few mm. However small rims makes the bike less stable at speed and more prone to do funny jokes when cornering, or uneven pavement, so I would not recommend it. On a Scoopy classic you can upgrade tires to the next size and that will lessen the chances of flat tires on speed bumps, and give better handling too.

You need mag wheels for tubeless tyres. Otherwise a spoked rim would need sealing that is probably not worth the hassle on an scooter.
