Rain Starting Around 5Pm Every Day

I surely cannot be the only person noticing the rain consistently starting around the 5pm mark each day for the last month or so.

Any reason it starts to cloud over and rain about the same time each day ?

The slightly more technical answer, Jimmy, is that the earth cools later in the day. As it does so, the heat rises. That hot air meets the colder air above, and their "meteorological mating" causes moisture ... rain.

Once a general weather pattern sets in, it will usually rain at the same time every day for days or even for a week or more.

In my experience that is not necessarily at the end of the day - it could be any time during the day, but once it sets into a pattern, you can rely on rain roughly the same time every day.

Its the way it is in tropical climes.

No doubt a meteorologist can explain the whys and wherefores.

Ive also noticed its lasting longer and longer, time to kick the land lords ass and get the leaky kitchen roof fixed

It starts around 16.55 p.m., 5 minutes prior to the moment that I have to make a run for my car getting soaked or I have to wait 45 minutes until the rain has subsided and the "naam tuwam" is reasonable...........very annoying.
