Seems to be quite a lot more planes landing and taking off in the last couple of months.

Is that the case or perhaps I have become more sensitive to them as I hardly noticed them before?

There is something to be said for not being under the flight path, although supposedly people will filter out the noise after a while and ignore it.

Barely notice it at BWT ... except for the 11.55pm take-off. After less than a month here I think there may be ~ 5 planes per week that I'd call annoying, usually day-time, lasts only a few minutes.

There seems to be groups taking off one after the other a lot more recently. Don't know why though.

I live near the end of the runway and love it. Love to see the planes Some times old DC3's flying in sometimes Mystery planes with no record of their flight and no markings. I can tell the time and know when someone is late. Not for everyone but I am happy to see and hear them

the only one I notice is the 7.15 one that usually wakes me, I think it's one of the One2go planes with twin engines on the tail that seem a lot louder then all the other airbusses

Hi DavidOxon,

I am also near the flight path and every morning like clockwork, the first take off are PG122 ( A319) at 6h55 and TG123 ( AB6) at 0700. FD3406 at 07h10.( A320)

Orient THai ( ex-One-Two-Go) first departure is at 10h30 OX8121 ( MD82)

So sorry,,,the noisy morning flights are all Airbus. The AB6 is an older model ( A300-600)

And they always pass over when watching a detective drama when the announcement that "the murderer is ----" is made. biggrin.png
